Life! Community Development (LCD) is a Singapore based organisation and a charity working in Asia in developing communities. We will serve any community regardless of religion, race, or nationality through community development initiatives and disaster relief within our means.
Our vision is to promote volunteerism in community development locally and overseas. Our mission is to invite, train and mentor volunteers and communities for community development in Asia to enable physical, social and values transformation.
We partner with goverment and private sectors, including corporations, non-profits, faith-based organizations, civic groups and academic institutions for community development.
Mostly we partner with developing communities in Asia. Through culturally-appropriate activities and programs, we help people envision positive changes in their community, provide some training and resources and harness energy of community volunteers to overcome physical, social problems and address changes to their value system.
In this way, communities are empowered to develop their own community. We exist to engage, equip, enable and empower communities to develop sustainable solutions for their society.
